Thank You, Harry

So. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Folks, I saw it.

Yesterday.

And I plan on seeing it again.

As many times as I can.

Yes, the franchise is over. There will be no more books or movies. And while this makes me very sad, I can only be grateful:

And, of course, thank you, J.K.

You changed my life for the better.

  1. My husband doesn't understand the Harry Potter hype or the hype of Midnight showings, but it truly is an entire culture. It's kind of like the end of the hippie generation with the end of the Potterer's. Now I'm sad... Ohhhh

  3. Magan--BLASPHEMY! :) But you are so right. It IS an entire culture. People have grown up loving these books, and will continue to do so throughout the years. And yeah, saying goodbye sucks. *hugs tight*

Kitty--Smart cookie! Long lines are pretty scary. And that all-in-one idea about the films is AWESOME. Hope they actually do it, too!
