Hi, there! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
I, for one, enjoyed myself. I finished Beauty Queens by Libba Bray, which I reviewed for Operation Awesome (spoiler: it was AMAZING).
That book got me thinking about femininity and how girls are portrayed in literature/films/TV.
Then Pixar released a teaser trailer for their 2012 movie, BRAVE.

I hadn't actually heard of of BRAVE before, but it looks like a great movie from the trailer!
ReplyDeleteBrave looks spectacular (and about time they featured a heroine). 2012 is the year for movies, I guess, since the first Hobbit comes out next year. I just wish both debuted THIS year.

ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen the trailer either, but heard great things from ppl who went to see Cars2 and were more impressed with the Brave trailer. :) It looks very exciting!
